Laura Gibson and the design team, have created a way to get more bang out of a piece of jewelry; by being able to wear it in a variety of ways. As a single strand, double strand, long or short necklace – with or with out a charm. Or as a bracelet! A novel idea; making your jewelry fun to change and wear according to the occasion. The charm can also be strung onto a simple chain.

Our unique links offer an opportunity to change the style of the piece as often as you change your outfit!  You can experiment with different looks, lengths, and combinations to enhance every neckline and mood. Custom Redesign

On her recent vacation, Laura did a lot of designing. Re-designing actually. She had several customers that chose to have their Laura Gibson jewelry redesigned to fit their current wardrobe.

Aquamarine: March Birthstone

Its name is derived from the Latin words  ‘aqua’ (water) and ‘mare’ (sea).

Like seawater, Aquamarine comes in blue and blue-green colors.  Aquamarine is colored by trace amounts of iron, which find their way into its crystal structure.  It is mined in countries like Brazil, Colombia, and Madagascar.  It has also been found in Colorado and Wyoming.  It is part of the Beryl gemstone family, just like Emerald.

 Women the world over, love it for its beautiful blue shade, which complements most skin tones and eye colors.  A benefit attributed to Aquamarine, is that it has been said to promise a happy marriage and to bring the woman who wears it joy and wealth.  A beautiful gemstone for March.  Here is a sampling of Laura Gibson Jewelry, bearing this magnificent stone:

A versatile idea…

Charms are a wonderful, affordable way to customize both a Laura Gibson piece and something you already own.  Charms come in two styles; Pendant charms and “Second strand.”

Pendant charms can be attached to chain and bead necklaces to add interest and extra style.  They are designed with either a lobster clasp to clip to the center of a necklace, or a circle to slide onto your chain or strand of beads.  If you prefer a lobster over a ring or vise versa, we can easily exchange this for you.

The “Second strand” style charms  have recently been added to our website.  They are designed to be attached to both sides of a necklace at about the collarbone.  Looking for a creative way to repurpose your gold or silver chains?  You can send yours in, and the production department will cut it and attach findings to it, which will allow you to attach one of these interchangeable strands to it.

The fun in these items, is their versatility.  You can change them depending on the color of your outfit, using the same chain.  They are available in both gold and silver.

Here is one of the chains we sell, outfitted with small lobster clasps.  You might wonder if they are visible, but we have found that they easily blend into the design.
